| GENERAL INFORMATION |

| The Royal Government of Bhutan has adopted
a very cautious approach towards the development of tourism in the
kingdom, in an effort to avoid negative impacts on the culture and
environment. Visitors to Bhutan must either be a guest of the government
whereby all the arrangements are made by the concerned authority,
or as a tourist availing an all inclusive pre-planned, pre-paid, conducted
package tour. |

| ACCESS TO BHUTAN |
| Entry points into Bhutan is either by road
through the State of West Bengal,lndian to Phuentsholing,Bhutan in
the south or to Paro Airport by Druk Air, the only airline. There
are flights to and from Bangkok, Calcutta, New Delhi and Kathmandu.
It is a must to travel one way, either entry or exit by Druk Air.
No domestic flights. Entry from Assam is not authorized |

| VISA PROCEDURE |
All foreign nationals require visa for Bhutan,
(except for Indian nationals holding a valid ID). Visa clearance from
Thimphu must be obtained before departing for Bhutan. Visa details
(as per visa form enclosed) should be sent to our office at least
03 weeks prior to arrival. Upon confirmation of tour/entry/exit points,
and receipt of the full tour payment, we will process visa and clearance
approved will be faxed to you before departure. Two
passport photos must be submitted on arrival at the Paro airport.
Visa stamp will be issued on arrival in Bhutan against direct payment
of visa fee US$ 20 per person at the entry point. Visa is initially
granted for 15 days and can be extended for another 15 days. Visa
extension fee is Nu. 510. Airport departure tax Rs. 400 per person,
approx. US$ 10/- .

Terms and Conditions
|
| 1. The tour package includes airport transfers, accommodation
on twin sharing basis, meals, over land transport within Bhutan, sightseeing,
local tour guide, museum fees and supply of pack and riding ponies
when and where available. |
| 2. Single room supplement charge is US$ 20. (the odd
person is exempted) |
| 3. FIT surcharge for two persons and one. |
| Individuals and groups 2 persons shall be
subject to surcharge, over and above the daily rates applicable, as
follows |

US$ 40 per night halt. |
|
2 pax
|
US$ 30 per night halt per person. |
| 4. A contribution of USD 10 per person for
each visit is to be made towards the tourism Development Fund. |
| 5. Every effort will be made to adhere to
the planned itinerary, due to weather conditions and reasons beyond
the control, changes to the itinerary might occur, for which the company
accepts no responsibility. |

| DISCOUNTS: |
The following discounts on daily rates is
allowed, however FIT surcharge is not exempted.
- DIPLOMATS from foreign embassies/missions accredited to Bhutan shall
be given a 25% discount on the rates.
- There shall be no charge for CHILDREN up to the age of 5 years.
However, Those between the age of 6 to 12 years accompanied by elders/guardians
shall be given 50% discount.
- Full time STUDENTS below the age of 25 years holding valid identity
cards from their academic institutions shall be given a 25% discount.

| DELAYED
ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE: |
| There shall be no charge for the number of
days of delay in arrival/departure of visitors due to weather conditions,
Druk Air problems or road blocks. |

CANCELLATION CHARGES:
|
| Tour programs booked and subsequently cancelled
is subject to cancellation charges as follows: |
- Within 21 days - 1 0% of the rate
- Within 14 days - 15% of the rate
- Within 7 days - 30% of the rate
- Less than 7 days or without notice - 50% of the rate
- After arrival in Bhutan - 1 00%.

INSURANCE:
|
| There is no personal insurance of any kind
included in the tour price, so travel insurance should be obtained
from your place of residence, before commencement of trip. STS will
not hold liability for any illness, injury or death sustained during
a tour/ trek. |
