| Day 01. Paro - Shana |
| Drive upto Drugyel Dzong where the road ends
and the Trek begins, following the river gently uphill through a narrowing
agricultural valley and village houses. Camp is just beyond an army
post. (Alt. 2800M), Distance -17 KMS about 5/6 hours. |

| Day 02. Shana - Sol thangthangkha |
| Continue uphill through the river valley.
It narrows and closes in and the trial winds up and down along the
drainage. Camp is in a meadow with stone shelters BTCL has built for
trekkers. |

| Day 03. Soi thangthangkha - Jangothang |
| On up the Pa Chu, pass a small army post
where the valley begins to widen again. Now views of high ridges and
then snow-capped peaks are all around. You may begin to see Yak herder=s
winter homes. Camp beneath a ruined fortress at the base of Chomolhari.
(Alt. 4040M), Distance - 19 KMS about 5/6 hours. |

| Day 04. Jangothang - Lingshi |
| Wide Yak pastures on the way up and down
the pass, possible to see some nomads in their Yak tents depending
on the time of year you are there. Great views of Lingshi Dzong as
you come down into the Lingshi basin if the weather's clear. Tserim
Gang and its descending glaciers atthe north end of the valley. Camp
is in a stone shelter or in tent (Alt 4150M), Distance -19 KMS about
5/6 hours. |

| Day 05. Lingshi - Chebisa |
| Today is the shortest walking day and you
can really take it easy. On reaching camp at Chebisa village you can
also visit the village houses. (Alt. 3850M), Distance -12 KMS about
5/6 hours. |

| Day 06. Chebisa - Shomuthang |
| The walk is through wild high pastures. Cross
Gohula (La means Pass). (AIt.14268ft/4358m), camp on a bench above
a river, a tributary to the Mo Chu which flows out just below Gasa
Tsachu (hot spring). (AIt.4260M), Distance -17 KMS about 6 hours. |

| Day 07. Shomuthang - Robluthang |
| An early start. After crossing Jarela pass
(alt. 15088ft/4600m), you drop to Tsharijathang the valley where herds
of Takin are normally seen. Over night in camp. (AIt.14400ft). Distance
-15 KMS about Mrs. |

| Day 08. Robluthang - Laya |
| After crossing Shingela pass (alt. 16072ft/
4900m), you descend again and then follow the valley. Lenithang is
in Laya district. You begin to see the cheerful children in theirfunny
hats. The trial splits, one going down following the river. The other
stays high leading to the west side of Laya village. Overnight at
camp. (AIt.1268ft). Distance - 29 KMS about 718 hours. |

| Visit village houses or hike in and around
the camp. |

| Day 10. Laya - Roduphu |
| Distance -19 KMS about 617 hours. (AIt.13645ft/4160m).

| Distance -17 KMS about 5/6 hours.Cross Tsimola
pass. (AIt.13420ft/4220m). Overnight in camp. |

| Day 12. Narithang - Tarin |
| Distance -18 KMS about 6/7 hours. Cross Ganglakarchungla
(16720/5100m). Overnight in camp. |

| Day 13. Tarina - Woche |
| Distance - 15 KMS about 5 hours. On arrival
at camp visit a village house of Woche. The Lunana area begins here.

| Day 14. Woche - Lhedi |
| Distance 19 KMS about 6/7 hours. Cross Kechela
pass (15015ft/4550m.) Stop at Thega village enroute. Overnight in
camp. |

| Day 15. Lhedi - thanza |
| Distance 19 KMS about 5I6 hours. (Alt. 1328ft/4050m).
Enroute visit Chezo Dzong. Overnight in camp. |

| Day 16. Thanza - Halt |
| Visit village houses and mingle with the
people of Thanza. Or hike in and around the camp. Overnight in camp. |

| Day 17. Thanza -Tshochena |
| Distance 18 KMS about 6/7 hours. (Alt. 15744ft/4800m).
Cross Jazela pass (aIt.16564ff/5050m). Overnight in camp. |

| Day 18. Tshochena -Jichu dramo |
| Distance 14 KMS about 4/5 hours. (AIt.16006ft/4880m).
Cross Lojula pass alt. (16203ft/4940m). Overnight in camp. |

| Day 19. Jichu Dramo - Chukarpo |
| Distance 15 Kms about 3/6 hours. (AIt.14731ft).
Cross Rinchenzoe pass (a1t.16859ft./5140m). Overnight in camp. |

| Day 20. Chukarppo - Tampetso |
| Distance 20 kms about 7/8 hours. ( AIt.13895ft).
Cross Tamplela pass (aIt,15015ft/4550m). Pass the Umtso lake in which
religious treasures were discovered by Terton Pemalingpa. Overnight
in camp. |

| Day 21. Tampetso - Maorothang |
| Today the trek is all the waydown hill through
Rhododendron bushes till you reach camp. The camp is near the Nikka
Chu river. Overnight in camp. (AIt.11844ft). Distance -14 kms about
5 hours. |

| Day 22. Maorothang - Nikkachu Chazam |
| Distance 23 kms about 6/7 hours. (AIt.8692ft/2650m).
Today is your last day work. The trial passes through the fields villages
of Sephu. Overnight in camp. |

| Early morning drive to Thimphu. Overnight
in Motithang Hotel. |
