PHYSICAL FITNESS:

| You don't need to possess an exceptional physique or any great strength to enjoy trekking in Nepal. If you are in good health, physically fit and have a taste for outdoor life, you can join most of our treks. Some treks, however, are quite rigorous and involve climbing high altitudes. Difficulties may be encountered on these treks because of the thin air at such elevations and the strenous exertions required. If you are planning to go on such a trek, STS requests you to produce a medical certificate that you are fit and in good health to go on the trip. | |||||||||||||

| We strongly advise that you take out a comprehensive insurance policy in your home country to protect against unforeseen circumstances while on trek. The insurance policy should cover accidents and transportation costs of helicopter rescue or surface evacuation. Such policies are not available in Nepal, so we ask that you make all the necessary insurance arrangements in your own country. | |||||||||||||
| PRE-TREK BRIEFING: | |||||||||||||
| STS will send detailed information for preparing clients for their treks & tours upon confirmation of the trip. A verbal briefing will also be given after your arrival in Kathmandu OR Delhi. Maps and itineraries will be issued during the briefing which will be conducted by a senior staff member. | |||||||||||||
